Year 6 tests have changed. For information from the DfE regarding the tests, please click here.

Key Stage 2 Results

Our overall results for Year 6 tests in May 2016 were disappointing, notwithstanding the decline that all schools experienced nationally with the introduction of new national tests. Whilst progress was above floor targets (minimum requirements), the attainment of Year 6 pupils was very low compared to new national averages.

Since April 2016, our new Head Teacher, Mrs Mulligan, has shaped a fresh vision for the school, in partnership with parents, governors, staff and children. By September 2016, a new Senior Leadership Team had been created, and our Governing Body was reinvigorated.

Our whole school community is determined to ensure that all pupils fulfill their potential. The Mount's School Development Plan has been written with a clear focus on swift improvements to the school ethos, environment, teaching, learning and resources. This was shared with parents and carers at our first Parent Forum in November 2016 and is available to discuss with the Head Teacher; please make an appointment if you would like to do so.

These figures are given as a percentage of the 28 pupils in Year 6 in Summer Term 2016.
