Action to be taken

High temperature

Stay at home until the temperature has gone

Continuous cough

Stay at home until the cough has eased

Runny nose, sore throat, slight cough

Attend school as normal

Positive Covid test

Stay at home for three days

Vomiting

Stay at home for 48 hours since last episode

Diarrhoea

Stay at home for 48 hours since last episode

Chicken pox

Stay at home until the spots have scabbed over

 If a child has attendance of less than 90%, only the first day of absence will be authorised. 

Medical proof would need to be seen from Day 2 onwards

(e.g. proof of medical appointment, positive test).

This can be discussed with our Attendance Officer.
