Admission Arrangements

Main School Admissions - Reception to Year 6

The Mount follows Wakefield Council's policy.  This ensures fair opportunities for admission for everyone across the Wakefield district.

Wakefield Council Admissions Team manage admissions for full-time school places in year groups from Upper Foundation (Reception) through to Year 6. If your child is currently attending another school and you wish them to move to or from this school you will first need to contact the Admissions Team (see contact details below) to check whether there are any places available at schools within your catchment area. They will then discuss the application process with you.

Nursery Admissions

We currently have places in our school nursery for children who are aged 3 or 4.  Children can join us the term after they turn 3.   We have three intakes to our lower foundation (Nursery) setting each year in September, January and after Easter. Please contact the school office, where our staff would be happy to show you around the school, and provide the forms you will need to fill in.   If you would like to enquire about flexibility, they will also be happy to discuss this with you.
